Concepts, Inc. has been providing engineering and software
services since our founding in 1995. Organized by Dr. Thomas
Howsman and Dr. Patrick Tobbe, Dynamic Concepts, Inc. has
a strong background in the technical disciplines required
to meet the needs of today’s high-tech industries.

Officers
Mr. Joseph Clayton has served as Dynamic
Concepts, Inc. President since 2009. Mr. Clayton joined
DCI in April 2007 after serving five years as Vice President
of bd Systems/Subsidiary of SAIC. Mr. Clayton received his
BS degree
in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central
Florida and his MS degree in Computer Science from
the Florida Institute of Technology. Mr. Clayton has over
25 years experience in structural dynamics, loads, simulations,
vibro-acoustics, and shock analysis working both NASA and
DoD related programs.
Dr. Thomas G. Howsman is a founding partner
of Dynamic Concepts, Inc. and has served as a company officer
since 1995. Dr. Howsman received his BS and MS degrees in
Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas, and
received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University
of Alabama-Hunstville. Dr. Howsman has more than 20 years
experience in the fields of structural dynamics, controls,
and software development.
Dr. Patrick Tobbe has served as Dynamic
Concepts, Inc. Vice President since 1997. Dr. Tobbe received
his BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Louisville, and received his PhD in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Dr.
Tobbe has more than 20 years experience in the fields of
multibody dynamics, simulation, and robotics
Mr. Jimmy Compton has served as an officer
of Dynamic Concepts, Inc. since 1997. Mr. Compton received
his BS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Textile Engineering
from Auburn University, and received his MS degree in Electrical
Engineering from the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Mr.
Compton has over two decades experience in the fields of
control systems, dynamics, and GN&C algorithm design
& development.
Mr.
Philip Williams has served as a company officer at Dynamic
Concepts, Inc. since 1998. Mr. Williams received his BS
degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of
Alabama and his MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from
Purdue University. Mr. Williams has over 20 years experience
in the fields of simulation, embedded programming, and mechanical
design.
